NJ Home Goods Refund/Return/Exchange Policy
Thank you for shopping at NJ Home Goods!
We offer refund and/or exchange within the first 30 days of your purchase, if 30 days have passed since your purchase, you will not be offered a refund and/or exchange of any kind.
Eligibility for Refunds and Exchanges
You must obtain a return authorization number (RA#) using the instructions listed in the section Return Authorizations.
Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
The item must be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase*.
Only regular priced items may be refunded, sale items cannot be refunded*.
* If the item in question was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. This value will be determined by the value associated with the gift receipt or the lowest listing price of item in the 30 days preceding the return request, whichever is greater.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged within 30 days of purchase.
If you need to exchange an item for the same item, you must obtain a return authorization using the instructions listed in the section Return Authorizations.
Exempt Goods
Gift cards are exempt from refunds.
Partial refunds, refunds, and gift credit
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error will not receive a refund or gift credit of any kind.
Any item that is returned more than 15 days from receiving an RA# will not receive full credit.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund (full or partial) will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.
Gift credit will be used in cases where the original method of payment is unavailable.
Late or missing refunds
If you have not received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Return Authorizations
Exchanges or returns will only be allowed when a return authorization number (RA#) has been obtained.
To receive an RA#, send us an email at return_authorization@njhomegoods.com with the date of purchase, order #, original shipping address, and the reason for return or exchange.
If purchase was a gift, and did not include a gift receipt, the email must include the name of the person from whom the gift was received and the date received.
You will be emailed an RA#, and instructions on how to ship the product in question.
Shipping
Please do not send the product back to the manufacturer. It must be sent to the address provided when the RA# is provided.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.
Shipping costs are non-refundable! If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
Exchanges/refunds will not be process until the item, labeled with the appropriate RA#, is shipped and received as we are not in control of when and how you ship your return item.
